It’s rare to see Karl Lagerfeld stray very far from the classic; rx-viagra.Even the futurism of last season was carefully balanced by the classical rx-viagra, yet Fall 2010 was rife with modern elements and futurist references.High-shine patent leather came in the form of leggings and jacket trim, before things got sportier with piped zip-up jackets and leggings which buttoned up at the sides.

Where Karl really excelled was in the immaculately tailored dandy jackets (a Lagerfeld specialty as always) and in the shimmering metallic sequinned pieces which looked like galaxies of stars woven woven into fabric.
